STEP 1: Book a Free Informational Appointment

Book a 15-minute informational appointment via telehealth with a member of our leadership team to ensure we are a good fit for your needs:

  1. Get more info about our therapists & services
  2. Book and individual appointment (some therapists’ availability is limited & not on ZocDoc)
  3. Join a group
  4. Join a waitlist
  5. Get set-up as a client (even if you book on ZocDoc)
  6. Learn about insurance & your cost (also see info below)
  7. Request a sliding scale rate
  8. If you would like a 15-minute appt with your choice of therapist this can be arranged as well

INSURANCE INFORMATION: We are in-network with Cigna. If you book an informational appointment and we will check your benefits for you. We are out-of-network (OON) with all other insurance. During the informational appointment we will check your insurance, explain your benefits, and show you the tool we have to help with out-of-network reimbursement.

SLIDING SCALE POLICY: We strive to serve a diverse socioeconomic client base. For every client who pays our full-rates, we can afford to take one client at a sliding scale rate. If you feel you need a sliding scale rate, please let us know what you feel you can pay for weekly sessions during the informational appointment. If we cannot accept that amount we will provide you referrals to an organization that may be able to.

Most of our therapists’ availability are posted on ZocDoc.

Please be aware that when you are booking on ZocDoc you will be booking a regular weekly appointment. Our team will send you an email, intake paperwork, and an invite to join a HIPAA compliant texting app (see below). Please be aware that it’s helpful to also book an informational appointment with someone from our leadership team.

COMPLETE INTAKE DOCUMENTS: After your informational appointment or when you book on ZocDoc you will receive: An email from yourprovider@simplepractice .com with a link to complete documents. If you do not have the link, you can click here or select client portal from the top menu bar. These must be completed in 24-hours before your 1st appointment or we will cancel your appointment.

SIGN-UP for SPRUCE: Once you have completed your informational appointment you will also receive an invite via text for a HIPPA complaint texting app called Spruce, which will allow you to text with your therapist and the client care and billing associate assigned to you.
